Abstract:As a foundation for computerization of national resources assessment and regional arrangement, the database for mineral resources assessment of China provides a basis for utilization of new techniques in mineral resources assessment. GIS is an effective technique for special data management. The construction of a spatial database on the basis of GIS can make the utilization of the available data more adequate and effective. This paper describes the major process and the key technique of this study. The database can be applied to the next round of national mineral resources assessment in China. |
