Mantle_derived Fluids in Relation to Ore_forming and Oil_forming Processes
Abstract:The researches on mantle_derived fluids in relation to ore_forming and oil_formi ng processes constitute one of the forefront fields in the earth science. Based on the research results of this fields in combination with the achievements of t he project “Deep Fluids Ore_forming System" supported by the Major State Basic Research Programs of People's Republic of China, this paper has reviewed the com positions, types and migration forms of mantle_derived fluids, discussed O, H, C and noble gas isotopes of mantle_derived fluids and proposed the origins of man tle_derived fluids and its tectonic setting in the active areas. The current res earches on the relationships of mantle_derived fluids to the formation of metall ic deposits and oil_gas field basins are also reported in this paper.
