中文摘要:Čoka Kuruga金铜矿床作为Timok成矿带西部截至目前已发现的最大规模的产于蚀变岩帽中的高硫型浅成低温热液矿床,多年勘探仍未发现下伏斑岩型矿化,文章通过对矿区蚀变岩帽开展大比例尺蚀变填图、岩芯编录及明矾石特征吸收峰值研究,判断该区蚀变岩帽中浅成低温热液矿床及深部斑岩型矿床的成矿潜力。研究结果表明,矿区蚀变岩帽原岩为中基性火山-沉积岩,其分布受区域性北西向断裂、火山机构及其同生断裂等共同控制。在水平方向上由中心向外依次发育高级泥化多孔状石英岩带、高级泥化强硅化隐爆角砾岩带、高级泥化带、泥化带及青磐岩化带。明矾石广泛分布于高级泥化带中,主要形成于岩浆蒸汽环境、岩浆热液环境及表生环境中,其中岩浆热液明矾石对寻找高硫型浅成低温热液矿床具有直接的指示意义。明矾石的特征吸收峰三维数值模型显示从矿区北东部到西南部,其1480 nm特征吸收峰值有明显增大的趋势,推测高硫型矿体南西侧具有寻找斑岩型矿床的潜力。总体上,沿Lipa断裂呈串珠状分布的蚀变岩帽,可能发育与Timok成矿带东部类似的巨型斑岩-浅成低温矿床成矿系统的潜力。
Abstract:Čoka Kuruga gold-copper deposit, hosted in the lithocap, is currently the largest high-sulfidation epithermal deposit in the western Timok metallogenic belt, and the porphyry mineralization bellow epithermal have not yet been discovered for many years. Here, we present the results of large-scale alteration mapping, core logging, and short wavelength infrared (SWIR) characteristic of alunite in the deposit to provide significant estimations on the metallogenic potential of epithermal and porphyry deposits in lithocaps and deeper zones in this region, respectively.The results show that protolith of the lithocap is composed of intermediate to mafic volcanic sedimentary rocks, which is structurally controlled by regional NW-striking faults, volcanic edifices, and associated syngenetic faults. Hydrothermal alteration is horizontally zoned outward from advanced argillic porous quartzites, through advanced argillic intense silicified crypto-explosive breccias, advanced argillic, argillic to propylitic zones. Alunite is well developed in advanced argillic zone that is genetically associated with phreatomagmatic, magmatic hydrothermal, and supergene process. Previous studies have shown that magmatic hydrothermal alunite can be a useful indicator for exploration of high-sulfidation epithermal deposits. In our study, the 3D numerical model of magmatic hydrothermal alunite 1480-nm absorption peak position shows an increasing shift from northeast to southwest part of the mining area, indicating that the southwest part of the high-sulfidation ore bodies is a promising exploration target for porphyry deposits. Overall, the beaded lithocaps along the Lipa fault potentially develop the huge porphyry-epithermal ore-forming systems analogous to those in the eastern part of Timok metallogenic belt.
