Abstract:There are two diametrically different ore types in the Dajiangping ore deposit: the banded ore in No. Ⅲorebody was formed by syngenetic hot-water deposition. Whereas the massive ores in the No.Ⅳorebody by late hydrothermal superimposition and reformation. The two types of ores are quite different from each other in such aspects as trace elements, sulfur and lead isotopes and fluid inclusions. Geological and geochemical studies show that the ore deposit is a typical syngenetic hot water deposition-late hydrothermal superimposition and reformation type stratabound deposit.
